Speculum Arcani

Compendium of Figures Arcana wherein the male body is made sign, and the sign is made flesh. As befits the ancient art of tarot, mirror of destiny and of the occult forces that operate upon it, each figure carries within itself a constellation of hidden meanings, which the one who consults may unravel according to their own intelligence, their own inclination, and their own moment. Around the figures, the symbols of hermeticism and neoplatonic philosophy weave a web wherein desire appears in its ancient dignity as an ordering force: not ornament of the composition, but its generative principle. For the mirror shows each one what they are capable of seeing.
